On March 3, 2025, fellow A-lister Simu Liu took over hosting duties. “Simu Liu jumps into action to fill in as guest host […] Tune in today for more fun with guest host Simu Liu, Woody Harrelson and Finn Cole,” reads the shows caption of the episode snippet shared on YouTube.
Even the “Kims Convenience” actor addressed the temporary replacement in a humorous way during the episodes intro.
“Hello, everybody and welcome to The Kelly Clarkson Show. Wow! Uhm, now, before we get things started, I do have a confession to make, uh, I am not Kelly Clarkson. I know this may shock many of you but Kelly actually isnt able to make it today, we are sending her our very best,” divulged Liu.
Interestingly, Kelly Clarkson returned to her show on March 6, where she hosted celebrities Jason Derulo, Nora Fatehi, Jason Isaacs, and Allie X. However, even more A-listers took over as guest hosts after her return.
The “Stronger” singers absence has prompted a flurry of reactions from her fans who are concerned about her whereabouts. “Low key worried about Kelly Clarkson. Hope everythings ok,” penned a supporter on X, who accompanied their message with a comical gif of the absent host.
